These Terms of Use (“Terms”) apply to https://profitpersale.com (the “Site”), operated by Xuanlin as an individual operator. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

1. What ProfitPerSale provides

ProfitPerSale is a free calculator and educational resource that helps users estimate Etsy-related fees, seller costs, profit, margins, and possible pricing scenarios.

The Site currently requires no user account and accepts no payment. Access is provided for personal or business-planning use subject to these Terms.

2. Estimates only

All calculator outputs are estimates based on the information you enter and the assumptions shown on the Site. Actual marketplace fees, taxes, payment-processing charges, advertising fees, shipping costs, refunds, currency effects, account-level adjustments, and other results may differ.

Fee rules and marketplace policies can change. You are responsible for checking current official marketplace information and verifying calculations before making pricing, listing, tax, accounting, or business decisions.

ProfitPerSale does not provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, or professional advice. The Site does not guarantee profit, margin, sales, marketplace eligibility, or any business outcome.

3. No affiliation with Etsy

ProfitPerSale is an independent tool. It is not Etsy, is not operated by Etsy, and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Etsy. References to Etsy are descriptive and are used to explain the calculator’s intended context.

4. Your responsibilities

You agree to:

• enter information you are authorized to use;
• review the displayed assumptions and exclusions;
• independently verify outputs before relying on them;
• use the Site lawfully and without interfering with its operation or security; and
• avoid automated access or activity that places an unreasonable load on the Site.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, introduce malicious code, evade security controls, or use the Site to violate another person’s rights.

5. Intellectual property and permitted use

The Site’s original text, design, calculator presentation, and other original materials are owned by the operator or used with permission. You may use calculator results for your own planning and may link to publicly available pages.

You may not copy, republish, sell, or distribute substantial portions of the Site as a competing product, remove ownership notices, or misrepresent Site content as an official marketplace resource, except where applicable law permits the activity without permission.

The Owner may correct, update, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site. The Site may occasionally be unavailable because of maintenance, provider outages, security events, or other causes. No particular feature, fee assumption, or level of availability is guaranteed.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Site is provided “as is” and “as available.” The Owner makes no warranty that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, current, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty or right that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Owner will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive losses, or for lost profits, revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill arising from or related to use of, inability to use, or reliance on the Site.

The Owner does not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful. These Terms do not state a monetary liability cap and do not create a compensation promise.

The Site’s Privacy Policy explains how information is handled and applies alongside these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

The Owner may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Site or its operation. The revised Terms will show a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Severability

If a provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by applicable law.
